Baseball Recap: Seton Conquistadors vs. Fredericksburg Christian Eagles

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Seton can now relate to. They fell just short of the Fredericksburg Christian Eagles by a score of 7-6 on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Seton of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April.

Michael Flynn was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Lynch, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

On Fredericksburg Christian's side, Robbie Harbour was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2. Carter Johnson was another key contributor, going 2-for-4 with a stolen base and an RBI.

Seton has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Fredericksburg Christian, their win bumped their record up to 7-11.
