Foran put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Cheshire Rams. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 6-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Abigail Corris spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in 22 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Maya Fallon-Silva and Maddie Deldin did most of the damage at the plate: Fallon-Silva went 2-for-3 with one run and one double, while Deldin went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

Foran pushed their record up to 23-0 with the victory, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games. As for Cheshire, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-3.
