Winneconne proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by five) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Fond du Lac Cardinals 2-1. Winneconne's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Harper Neace and Jada Kaiser scored both of Winneconne's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Winneconne pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those five games. As for Fond du Lac, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
