Basketball Game Preview: Pinewood Christian Patriots vs. Bulloch Academy Gators

The Pinewood Christian Patriots will venture away from home to face off against the Bulloch Academy Gators at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Friday, Pinewood Christian had to suffer through a 65-35 loss at the hands of Frederica Academy. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 483rd, while Frederica Academy are ranked 163rd).

Pinewood Christian might have lost, but man, Banks Hearn was a machine: he posted 26 points. Hearn's evening made it ten games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Meanwhile, Bulloch Academy entered their tilt with Claxton last Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They managed a 59-53 win over the Tigers.

Pinewood Christian's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Bulloch Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.

Pinewood Christian was dealt a bruising 71-43 defeat at the hands of Bulloch Academy in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can Pinewood Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
