Lawton-Bronson waltzed into their game  on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Akron-Westfield Westerners by a score of  7-3. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Westerners  back in May, they had to take a  11-0  defeat.
Lawton-Bronson's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 7-13. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Akron-Westfield, their loss dropped their record down to 13-9.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lawton-Bronson will host Western Christian  on Saturday. As for Akron-Westfield, they will welcome George-Little Rock  at 7:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Westerners are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on  a  six-game losing streak.
