Volleyball Recap: St. John's/Tipton Catholic Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact St. John's/Tipton Catholic can now relate to. They fell 2-0 to the Frankfort Wildcats on Tuesday. The Blujays were not able to make up for their loss to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in September of 2020.

Lynelle Gengler paced St. John's/Tipton Catholic's offense, picking up 11 kills. Gengler got some help from Breckyn Carr and her 16 assists. Kendra Gengler and Emma Dinuzzo kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

St. John's/Tipton Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 26-10. As for Frankfort, their victory bumped their record up to 7-29-1.

St. John's/Tipton Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Burlingame on the 21st. As for Frankfort, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Sylvan-Lucas/Wilson on the 21st.
