Football Recap: Northville Falls Despite Big Games from Max Defore and Cooper Derkach + How To Watch

While it was all tied up 7-7 at halftime, Northville was not quite Brighton's equal in the second half on Friday. They took a 21-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Northville's loss came despite strong showings from Cooper Derkach and Max DeFore. Derkach rushed for 72 yards and one touchdown, while DeFore rushed for 82 yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Northville fell to 4-1. As for Brighton, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
