Basketball Recap: Montour Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Montour extended their home winning streak to six games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Ama Tening Sow. The Montour Spartans blew past Lincoln Park Performing Arts, posting a 76-49 victory thanks in part to Sow, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 19 rebounds. Sow is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least 12 every time he's taken the court this season.

Trey Hopper was another key player, putting up seven points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (two).

Montour's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Lincoln Park Performing Arts, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Montour has already played their next contest, an 81-64 victory against Mars on the 18th. Lincoln Park Performing Arts has also already played their next game (against Quaker Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
