It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Mount Horeb had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They managed a 49-45 win over the Monona Grove Silver Eagles. The victory was nothing new for the Vikings as they're now sitting on 13 straight.

Mount Horeb's win bumped their record up to 25-1. As for Monona Grove, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-10.

Coming up, Mount Horeb will face off against Wauwatosa West on Saturday. Wauwatosa West knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 17 contests -- so hopefully Mount Horeb likes a good challenge. Monona Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
