Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Palmview). They claimed a resounding 96-44 victory over the Juarez-Lincoln Huskies. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 88-27 back in January.

Palmview had a senior duo take command as Jose L Gonzalez went 20-for-36 to rack up 51 points and six steals and DAMIAN ANAYA dropped a double-double with 31 points and ten boards. With that strong performance, L Gonzalez is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. Another player making a difference was Cristian Flores, who posted three points.

Palmview smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in four consecutive matches.

Palmview is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 24-14 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points over those games. As for Juarez-Lincoln, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-24.

Coming up, Palmview will square off against Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Juarez-Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
