Basketball Recap: Berea Takes a Loss

Berea was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 63-56 to the Lexington Christian Eagles. The Pirates were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.

Berea's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lexington Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Berea will be home for the holidays to greet Corbin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Berea's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Lexington Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 68-60 loss against Harrison County on the 13th.
