Lincoln-Way Central had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came out on top against the Wheaton Academy Warriors by a score of 2-0.

While Lincoln-Way Central won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 26-24.

Despite the loss, Wheaton Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Penny Park had 12 assists and four digs.

Lincoln-Way Central's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Wheaton Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.

Lincoln-Way Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Aurora East on the 13th. As for Wheaton Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Plainfield North on the 13th.
