Volleyball Recap: Arcata Comes Up Short

Arcata lost against Kelseyville back in October of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers fell just short of the Knights by a score of 2-1. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Nora Brumbaugh paced Arcata's offense, picking up six kills. Brumbaugh got some help from Harper Appy and her 19 assists. Appy was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Arcata's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Kelseyville, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Arcata will welcome Eureka at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kelseyville, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Inderkum on the 4th.
