Era got themselves on the board against Chico on Friday, but Chico never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Dragons with a sharp 13-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-1 on Tuesday.
Haygen Patterson and Gage Riley made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Patterson pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Riley pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances. At the plate, Patterson earned two runs and one stolen base, while Riley got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
