Basketball Recap: British School Comes Up Short

British School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 67-42 to The Lab School of Washington Dragons. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against British School this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 41-32 back in December of 2024.

Donovan Harris was his usual excellent self, going 16 of 26 on his way to 38 points for The Lab School of Washington. Matai Shacter-Wheeler was another key player, putting up 11 points.

British School's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for The Lab School of Washington, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-4.

British School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for The Lab School of Washington, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Washington International at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Lab School of Washington knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Washington International likes a good challenge.
