Preview: Victoria East Titans vs. Victoria West Warriors
Victoria East is 9-1 against Victoria West since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Victoria East Titans will look to defend their home court against the Victoria West Warriors at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Victoria East has three straight wins, Victoria West has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Gregory-Portland typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Victoria East proved too difficult a challenge. They strolled past the Wildcats with points to spare, taking the game 52-36.
Meanwhile, Victoria West came up short against Gregory-Portland on Friday and fell 64-54. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Victoria West in their matchups with Gregory-Portland: they've now lost five in a row.
Victoria East has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season. As for Victoria West, their loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 8-17.
Victoria East beat Victoria West 60-47 when the teams last played on January 5th. Will Victoria East repeat their success, or does Victoria West have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
