Softball Recap: El Capitan Takes a Loss

El Capitan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 29th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Buhach Colony Thunder, falling 20-3. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Thunder this season, with their most recent loss being a 10-3 defeat back in March.

El Capitan saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucca Jorgenson, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. That hit was Jorgenson's first of the season. Tasha Dickey was another, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

El Capitan's record now sits at 0-16. As for Buhach Colony, they pushed their record up to 7-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. El Capitan is set to face off against their familiar foe Golden Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Buhach Colony will challenge rival Los Banos at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
