Baseball Recap: Tuckahoe Takes a Loss

It was a good run, but Tuckahoe unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 11-1 to the Dobbs Ferry Eagles. The Tigers were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the three contests prior), but the Eagles' pitchers proved too tough.

Tuckahoe saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Brice, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Brice is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games he's played.

Tuckahoe's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Dobbs Ferry, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-11.

Coming up, Tuckahoe will welcome Roosevelt at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dobbs Ferry, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hastings at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
