Baseball Game Preview: Episcopal Wildcats vs. Carlisle Bison

Episcopal is 0-6 against Carlisle since March of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. Episcopal will take on Carlisle at 5:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Episcopal is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Saturday. They lost 9-2 to Newport.

Meanwhile, Carlisle fell victim to Palestine-Wheatley and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Patriots, falling 11-0. Bison fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Patriots since on Monday.

Carlisle's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-4. As for Episcopal, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Episcopal couldn't quite get it done against Carlisle when the teams last played back in March as they fell 7-4. Can Episcopal avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
