Bakersfield Christian and Central Valley Christian squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Bakersfield Christian had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Cavaliers. Considering the last time the Eagles couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Central Valley Christian scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-17, 25-19.
