Basketball Game Preview: Thomson Bulldogs vs. Burke County Bears

The Thomson Bulldogs just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Burke County Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Thomson will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.

On Monday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Thomson beat Butler 46-42.

Thomson can attribute much of their success to Ty?Leishiah Latimore, who posted six points in addition to seven boards and three steals, and Paris Rosser, who earned six points along with six steals and five assists. Rosser is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed four or more in the last ten games she's played. Denesha Hester was another key player, putting up six points.

Burke County played against Glenn Hills and won via forfeit.

Burke County moved to 7-7 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Thomson, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-1.

Everything came up roses for Thomson against Burke County in their previous meeting on January 11th, as the squad secured a 61-34 win. In that contest, Thomson amassed a halftime lead of 30-10, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
