Softball Recap: St. Croix Falls Saints vs. Bloomer Blackhawks
St. Croix Falls had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bloomer Blackhawks and snuck past 7-5. That's more bragging rights for St. Croix Falls, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
St. Croix Falls let Quinn Williamson and Claire Bradt loose on the outfield. Williamson scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4, while Bradt scored two runs while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Emilee Glenna, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
