Basketball Recap: Science Leadership Academy Comes Up Short

Science Leadership Academy lost against Motivation back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Science Leadership Academy fell to the Motivation Jaguars 50-44.

Chace White continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Motivation, going 9 for 22 on his way to 27 points and four steals. White is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed four or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashon Williams, who posted five points along with seven rebounds and four blocks.

Science Leadership Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Motivation, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-7.

As for Motivation, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Motivation Jaguars challenge the Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech Panthers at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Motivation surely won't give up without a fight.
