Football Game Preview: Windsor Yellowjackets vs. Poultney Blue Devils + Official Tickets

The Windsor Yellowjackets will head out to challenge the Poultney Blue Devils at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Windsor and nine for Poultney dating back to last season.

Windsor is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Vermont's top teams: Otter Valley, who was ranked 25th at the time (Windsor was ranked 22nd). The Yellowjackets were dealt a 48-7 defeat at the hands of the Otters on Saturday.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Poultney and Springfield, and Springfield kept the tradition alive. The Blue Devils took a blow against the Cosmos on Friday, falling 43-14.

Windsor's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Poultney, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Everything went Windsor's way against Poultney in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Windsor made off with a 48-27 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellowjackets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
