Baseball Game Preview: Harlan Cyclones vs. Shenandoah Mustangs

Harlan has gone a perfect 10-0 against Shenandoah recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Cyclones will head out to take on the Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Harlan is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Carlisle just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 4-3.

Meanwhile, Shenandoah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against Atlantic, falling 8-2.

Shenandoah's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Harlan, their loss dropped their record down to 16-7.

Harlan beat Shenandoah 8-5 in their previous matchup back in June of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cyclones since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
