Baseball Preview: Lancaster Eagles vs. Burroughs Burros
The Lancaster Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Burroughs Burros at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.
Lancaster easily dispatched Antelope Valley on Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Eagles fell just short of Castaic by a score of 6-4 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Eagles have suffered since May 2, 2024.
Meanwhile, Burroughs got the win against Serrano on Thursday by a conclusive 12-2. The Burros might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by seven runs or more this season.
