Football Game Preview: Benjamin Franklin Bayhawks vs. Lewis Falcons

Benjamin Franklin hasn't had much luck against Lewis recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bayhawks will host the Falcons at 3:00 p.m. Benjamin Franklin has given up an average of 36.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 47-6, which was the final score in Benjamin Franklin's tilt against Carver Vo-Tech on Saturday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lewis). They took down Lake Clifton 22-6 on Friday.

Lewis found their leader in freshman Cabriel Thrower, who rushed for 100 yards and one score on only 14 carries, and also threw for 77 yards and one touchdown.

Lewis' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Benjamin Franklin, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Benjamin Franklin suffered a grim 20-0 defeat to Lewis when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Bayhawks, Micheal Neal (who rushed for 143 yards and one TD while picking up 7.5 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
