Basketball Recap: South Delta Bulldogs vs. West Bolivar Eagles
The South Delta Bulldogs waltzed into their game on Friday with nine straight wins but they left with ten. Everything went their way against West Bolivar as South Delta made off with a 64-41 victory. That's another feather in the cap for South Delta, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Jamichael Green, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds. He hasn't dropped below two steals for 11 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Ahmani Lee, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
South Delta is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for West Bolivar, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-14.
South Delta does not have any more games scheduled as of now. West Bolivar won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Choctaws at 5:00 p.m. on February 3rd.
