Volleyball Recap: Grayslake North Takes a Loss

Grayslake North lost against Elk Grove back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights fell 2-0 to the Grenadiers.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-16.

Emmanuel Hernandez paced Grayslake North's offense, picking up five kills. Hernandez got some help from Josh Hercog and his six assists.

Grayslake North's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Elk Grove, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-21.

Coming up, Grayslake North will take on Mundelein at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight. As for Elk Grove, they will challenge Hersey at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
