Baseball Recap: Glasgow Takes a Loss

After flying high against ASPIRA Charter two weeks ago, Glasgow came back down to earth. The Dragons came up short against the Concord Raiders on Tuesday, falling 17-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dragons of the 12-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Glasgow's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Concord, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glasgow will take on Hodgson Vo-Tech at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Concord, they will challenge Sanford at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season.
