Basketball Recap: Fayette Takes a Loss

Fayette lost against Centralia back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Fayette Falcons had to suffer through a 70-28 loss at the hands of the Centralia Panthers. The matchup marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Fayette's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Centralia, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-1.

Fayette has already played their next game (against Salisbury), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Centralia Panthers duke it out with the Macon Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
