Volleyball Recap: Bear River's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Bear River entered their tilt with Chico on Saturday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 2-0. This was payback for the Bruins, who suffered a 2-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Grace McKeown paced Bear River's offense, picking up nine kills. McKeown got some help from Brooke Milligan and her 21 assists. Milligan was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Bear River's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Chico, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Bear River wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against East Nicolaus on the 6th. As for Chico, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Grant on the 9th.
