Soccer Recap: South Pointe's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

If South Pointe was feeling good fresh off their 10-2 takedown of Lancaster last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. South Pointe lost 10-1 to the Dreher Blue Devils on Friday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as South Pointe were already down 7-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Kyndall Watson, who's now up to nine this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, South Pointe fell to 4-1. As for Dreher, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-5.

The future could be bright for both South Pointe and Dreher: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. South Pointe will try to hand Richland Northeast their third-straight loss when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Dreher will look to extend Providence's three-game losing streak when they meet at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
