Basketball Game Preview: Pittsford Panthers vs. Batavia Blue Devils

The Pittsford Panthers are taking a road trip to take on the Batavia Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Pittsford has five straight wins, Batavia has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Pittsford's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points over those games. As for Batavia, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-16.

Everything came up roses for Pittsford against Batavia in their previous matchup on Tuesday, as the squad secured a 71-28 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pittsford since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
