Basketball Game Preview: Pebblebrook Falcons vs. Osborne Cardinals

The Pebblebrook Falcons will take on the Osborne Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Pebblebrook's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Osborne has been banged up by seven consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

On Saturday, Pebblebrook lost to Pace Academy on the road by a 76-59 margin. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (55), the Falcons still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Osborne ended up a good deal behind South Cobb on Friday and lost 64-48. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 337th, while the Eagles are ranked 92nd).

Pebblebrook's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Osborne, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-17.

Everything came up roses for Pebblebrook against Osborne in their previous matchup on January 9th, as the team secured a 78-51 victory. Will Pebblebrook repeat their success, or does Osborne have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
