Baseball Recap: Summit Tahoma Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Summit Tahoma challenged Pinewood on Friday. The Tigers came up short against the Panthers, falling 22-9. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 on Tuesday.

This is the second loss in a row for Summit Tahoma and nudges their season record down to 2-11. As for Pinewood, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Summit Tahoma will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on More at 4:00 p.m. on the 13th. As for Pinewood, they will square off against North Valley Baptist at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
