Basketball Recap: Omak's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Omak's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 69-52 win over the Cascade Kodiaks. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Pioneers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Omak's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Cascade, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Omak will host Tonasket at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Tonasket knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Omak likes a good challenge. As for Cascade, they will face off against Easton at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
