Gilmour Academy strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 61-56 W against the University School Preppers. The Lancers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Preppers, too.

Gilmour Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for University School, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Gilmour Academy is taking a road trip to take on Riverside at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lancers' defense better be ready for this one: the Beavers have averaged an impressive 69 points per game this season. As for University School, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 74-53 victory against John Hay on the 13th.
