Volleyball Recap: Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy Ospreys vs. Appomattox County Raiders

Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Appomattox County Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Appomattox County's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-10, 25-19.

Appomattox County was led to victory by Paisley Mann and Callan Shields. Mann had 11 digs and two aces, while Shields had 30 assists and nine digs.
