After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Godley, Kennedale was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Alvarado Indians as Kennedale made off with a 13-6 win. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 16-10 victory the Indians walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Kennedale's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 3-7-1. As for Alvarado, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Kennedale didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-8 victory against Life Waxahachie on the 25th. As for Alvarado, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 16-1 loss against Ferris on the 26th.
