Baseball Recap: Rains Takes a Loss

Rains entered their matchup against Canton on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Rains Wildcats fell 12-7 to the Canton Eagles. The loss was the Wildcats' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Rains fell to 4-1. As for Canton, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coincidentally, Rains and Canton will both be playing Caddo Mills the next time they take the field. Rains will host Caddo Mills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Canton will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
