Maize had won two straight home games and Brayden Myovela did his part to make it three on Friday. The Maize Eagles secured a 59-55 W over the Valley Center Hornets thanks in part to Myovela, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played.
Another player making a difference was Alec Grill, who posted nine points in addition to six rebounds and five assists. He also put up a block, which washis first of the season.
