Softball Recap: James Monroe Comes Up Short

James Monroe lost against Eastern View on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets lost 16-2 to the Cyclones. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

James Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Eastern View, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, James Monroe will take on Caroline at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cavaliers' pitching crew has only allowed 1.8 runs per game this season, so the Yellow Jackets' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Eastern View, they will face off against Chancellor at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cyclones are facing the Chargers at the right time seeing as the Chargers are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
