Baseball Recap: Borger Takes a Loss

Borger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They came up short against the Canyon Eagles, falling 14-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-0 back in March.

Borger's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Canyon, their victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Borger is set to face off against their familiar foe Perryton at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Canyon will challenge rival Pampa at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
