Soccer Recap: Whittell Takes a Loss

Whittell entered their contest against Dayton on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Warriors came up short against the Dust Devils, falling 6-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Dayton this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Whittell's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Dayton, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-1-2.

Whittell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dayton, they will venture away from home to take on Yerington at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dayton will be up against Yerington's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.77 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
