Baseball Recap: Thomasville Comes Up Short

Thomasville lost against East Davidson on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Golden Eagles, falling 14-1. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Thomasville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Bankhead, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Thomasville's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for East Davidson, they pushed their record up to 12-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Thomasville will take on rival Lexington at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, East Davidson is set to square off against their familiar foe West Davidson at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
