Softball Recap: Georgetown Comes Up Short

Georgetown was the 9-1 winner over Lake Travis when they last played one another back in March of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Georgetown Eagles took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Travis Cavaliers on Saturday.

Georgetown will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Smithson Valley at 2:00 p.m. on February 8th. As for Lake Travis, they will head out on the road to face off against Leander at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
