Volleyball Recap: St. Charles Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dover-Eyota, St. Charles was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Lourdes Eagles 3-0. The Fighting Saints were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Eagles, so the Fighting Saints were just returning the favor.

St. Charles' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Lourdes, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Charles will challenge Owatonna at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday. As for Lourdes, they will square off against Wabasha-Kellogg at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
