El Campo kept a clean sheet against Hallettsville on Friday. Everything went their way against the Hallettsville Brahmas as they made off with an 8-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Ricebirds, who have now won seven matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Hallettsville from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Landon Smith led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

El Campo is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those five games. As for Hallettsville, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6-1.
