Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Checotah). They never let the Morris Eagles get on the board and left with a 14-0 win on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wildcats considering their two-run performance the matchup before.
Mason Rainbolt made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Rainbolt was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season.
In other batting news, Checotah let Dalton Carter and Dallas Carter run wild. Dalton scored two runs while going 2-for-2, while Dallas scored a run while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Treagan DuVall, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3.

Heavener has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.8 runs per game on average), something Morris will no doubt try to take advantage of.
